This exam includes three subtests:

- Subtest 2—Reading and Writing in Spanish (167)
- Subtest 3—Foundations of Bilingual Education and Instructional Practice (168)

This exam includes:
- Headset and microphone for the listening questions and speaking assignments
- On-screen character selector for the writing assignment
5 hours total appointment time*
- CAT tutorial and compliance agreement: 15 minutes

Testing time:
- Subtest 1—Listening and Speaking in Spanish (166): 1 hour and 30 minutes
- Subtest 2—Reading and Writing in Spanish (167): 1 hour and 45 minutes
- Subtest 3—Foundations of Bilingual Education and Instructional Practice (168): 1 hour and 15 minutes
*NOTE: The total appointment time exceeds the total time for the tutorial and testing. This difference allows for untimed activity to conduct an equipment check prior to testing.
This exam is offered at specified CAT sites in Texas, Puerto Rico, and Mexico.

You must earn a passing score of 240 on each subtest to pass the overall exam.
$136 for the full exam (all three subtests in a single session)
$70 for a single-subtest retake if you passed the other two subtests
